Frugal – spend cut – w/e 07/06/15

From my weekly budget of £10 (July is a five-week month), I have spent:

Total £0.00, £10 into savings.

From my YouTube survey earnings, I donated $25 to Ramit Sethi’s Pencils of Promise campaign.

I went to Malta for four days through work, and my spend there was:

  • £37.40 – taxi to Birmingham airport (flight too early to go by train)
  • €1.50 – daysaver bus ticket (Thurs)
  • €0.60 – postcards for my grandparents
  • €1.60 – fruit for dinner on Thurs
  • €0.70 – public toilet in Valletta
  • €10.00 – lunch on Friday
  • €9.00 – lunch on Saturday
  • €1.50 – daysaver bus ticket (Sat)
  • €2.50 – ice cream
  • €1.50 – daysaver bus ticket (Sun)
  • €2.05 – bar of lemon and black pepper chocolate
  • €11.00 – entrance and audio guide at Hagar Qim and Mnajdra
  • €19 – traditional Maltese lunch (rabbit and imqaret)
  • €4.65 – water and chai latte at the airport

Total – £37.40 + €65.60 covered through daily allowance from work.

Food shopping

  • Steak – £3.50 (estimated) (reduced)
  • Cashew nuts – £1.35

Subtotal – £4.85

Total – £4.85

Running total for June- monthly budget £150, £4.85 spent, £145.15 remaining.
