Frugal spend – w/e 04/10/15

Out of this week’s budget of £20, I have spent:

  • £3.90 – tea, cake and chocolate at language meetup
  • £8.15 – lunch with friends

Total £12.05, £7.95 into savings.

From a £15 voucher I spent £1.80 on wool for a Christmas present.

Food shopping

  • Washing powder – £4.00
  • Pork shoulder – £4.24 (reduced)
  • Lemons and limes – £1.75
  • Toilet roll – £6.00

Subtotal – £15.99

  • Olives – £2.50
  • Moroccan mint tea – £2.00
  • Apples – £1.00
  • Pears – £0.80
  • Avocados – £1.75
  • Earl grey tea – £1.50
  • White cabbage – £1.04
  • Tomatoes – £0.65
  • Bananas – £0.52

Subtotal – £11.76

Total £27.75

Running total for October – monthly budget £150, £27.75 spent, £122.25 remaining.
