Out of this week’s budget of £14.61 (March is a 5-week month), I have spent:

  • £1.50 – drink at knitting meetup

Total £1.50, £13.11 moved to savings.

  • Out of savings I spent £17 on a chiropody appointment.
  • Out of savings for house repairs, I spent £140 on roof repairs.
  • Our of our eating-out budget, I spent £18.67 on a takeaway.

Food shopping

  • Washing up powder – £4.00

  • Yoghurt – £1.35
  • Cottage cheese – £1.90
  • Cheesecake – £2.99 (reduced)
  • Doughnuts – £0.80
  • Sandwich bags – £3.00
  • Rubbish bags – £0.60
  • Mince – £2.50
  • Chicken thighs – £5.00
  • Spring onions – £0.45
  • Avocados – £1.75
  • Pears – £0.80
  • Cream of tartar – £1.00
  • Cashew nut butter – £3.95
  • Water chestnuts – £0.90

Subtotal – £28.29

Total – £32.29

Running total for March – monthly budget £146.62 (£3.38 overspend in February), £100.54 spent, £46.08 remaining.
